Some of my favorite 4th of July memories are centered around food (aren’t most memories food centered? Mine are at least!) I’ve never hosted 4th of July yet, but I always bring something to others’ parties. I’m known for either bringing a delicious dessert or killer mixed drinks…
While there’s a time and place for drinks, desserts are my favorite because you can eat them all day. While you would look like a lush if you drank all day, sneaking some dessert here and there (or eating it for dinner) is seen as okay, right? 🙂
Without further ado, check out this list of 20 patriotic desserts I’ve picked out. There’s something to please everyone! Cakes, parfaits, cheesecake brownies, cheesecake filled strawberries and so many more options! I’m telling you, it all looks so great, I’m seriously thinking of making a couple things so there’s a bit of a selection. Red, white, and blue is the theme in all of these treats, so they’ll be the perfect match to your 4th of July BBQ!

Yum! I love the idea of putting angel food cake in Mason jars. It takes an otherwise messy dessert and makes it portable, to say a picnic or to a fireworks show! 🙂

Exactly!! Mason jars make clean up easy 🙂
